Terms and Conditions:

New members who (1) purchase a qualifying device or bring their own, (2) transfer their existing phone number from an Eligible Carrier, (3) activate their Visible service, and (4) complete 3 full months' service payments, are eligible to receive up to a $200 virtual gift card…

For the HomePod Mini, condition (4) is not listed. So, you do not need to pay for 3 months to keep your HomePod Mini.

HomePod Mini retails for $99, but can be found much cheaper.

Costco has them at $95.

Best buy has them as open box (Excellent) at $88.

Staples has them new at $89, but you need to follow through google shopping link to get the price (try incognito mode).
