I have a few weeks left on my current prepaid plan and don't want to disrupt it if possible.
- The locking/unlocking policy is still very new - I don't think anyone has had a Visible-locked phone long enough (60 days) to try unlocking it.
- No one knows for certain if activating the SIM card in a different phone would affect anything.
- No one knows if Visible requires you to actually use the SIM in the phone to unlock it (a la Cricket Wireless).
- Furthermore, the iPhone 13s are the first locked iPhones sold by Visible. There's a chance that the rules/steps for iOS phones aren't identical to those for android phones.
So basically, congratulations - you're part of the group that'll be providing SD with valuable data about Visible's unlocking policy on iPhones!

iPhone 12 sold in early Sep are unlocked, although lock policy started in late Aug
