For the PS5 you ideally want a 4K + 120Hz screen - which is only possible through HDMI 2.1 and monitors supporting this aren't really available yet. That said, you should go for either a 4K monitor with 60Hz or a 2K monitor with 120Hz. 2K with 240Hz like this one is not really required. All this said this is a good price and quality monitor you can definitely use with the PS5 ...
Best 1080p monitor I have ever owned. Alienware monitor does delivery performance and quality. Color is accurate and high refresh rate which is very good for competitive gaming and production. Currently running a rig with 2 Alienware monitor 2K and 1080p.
Bought this monitor brand new for a lot more than this about 6 months ago. It's a great gaming monitor, with an a above average IPS screen. Build quality is top notch.
If you're not going to take full advantage of the 240hz (ie, FPS PC gaming with a decent video card), this monitor probably isn't a good fit. But it's one of the least expensive 240hz you can buy while still having a great overall screen.

This is a no brainer price.

Read on Dell's website that this model should work with PS5 and Xbox Series S|X for up to 1080p @ 120Hz.
