Great headphones but no way you'd wanna work out with them. Your ears will get HOT. For working out you wanna go with earbuds.

For those asking about latency. There are two main forms of low latency BT audio aptX and LDAC. These use LDAC, which works well on Android phones and other devices that support LDAC, including Sony's 3D audio platform. For Macs and iOS devices, I'd skip these, since afaik, Apple doesn't support LDAC. They work fine with my mac, just not as well as my cheaper headphones that support aptX. I love my XM4s, you just need to know what they pair best with.

can these be used as gaming headphones?

trying to get new headphones since my v-modas are pretty old but dont want to get regular headphones + gaming headphones ...trying to take out two birds with one stone.

Bought the WH-1000XM3 from Secondipity a number of years ago for around the same price as these now. Can vouch that they are still going strong with no issues. Looked brand new when I got them even though they were marked "refurbished".

You won't be able to use it wirelessly bc of Bluetooth latency, but it will work if you use a wired mic like the vmoda boom pro.

I bought these from this slickdeals a month ago. I was nervous about secondipity just like everyone else. Headphones work perfectly and look brand new besides 1 white hair on them that confirmed they were refurbished. Some people say they come smelling like cologne or the previous owner. I would order from them again

Supposedly these do not have AptX and the mic quality is reputably bad. You may need to get a stand-alone mic.

I have them but haven't tried for gaming. I havent found the lag to be bad in my experience, however.

I bought these a few months back when it was a little less than this and they came smelling like that "leathery new item" smell. They looked brand new and have been working flawlessly ever since.

I've always been too weary to buy a refurbished product that touches the body (other than hands) when you're using it. I'll buy other refurbished items no problem though.

I bought them earlier this year from this seller for $170, including a two year Allstate warranty. They were in perfect condition, but obviously pre-owned (Bluetooth profiles still there, etc). Zero issues, and would do it again if I needed another pair.

This is the way. Doing this with the XM-3 plus boom pros. As long as you don't mind a wired setup, this strikes a great balance of comfort, quality, and usability.
