Great headphones but no way you'd wanna work out with them. Your ears will get HOT. For working out you wanna go with earbuds.

For those asking about latency. There are two main forms of low latency BT audio aptX and LDAC. These use LDAC, which works well on Android phones and other devices that support LDAC, including Sony's 3D audio platform. For Macs and iOS devices, I'd skip these, since afaik, Apple doesn't support LDAC. They work fine with my mac, just not as well as my cheaper headphones that support aptX. I love my XM4s, you just need to know what they pair best with.

Most major retailers have deals with wholesalers to get some money bank on returned products. When products get sent back, they try to salvage some value from them.

Secondipity is owned by Liquidity Services, who handles returns for a number of large corporations, a then fixes it and resells the products they deem fit. You used to be able to find a link to Liquidity Services buried deeply on Sony's website, but I can't seem to find it. I've purchased a number of Sony refurbs from them, and they've always been indistinguishable from brand-new items. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

I do use these while working out in cold weather times. I won't recommend it for running bc they are uncomfortable to run with them then Airpods, but sure you can if you want to. For simple lifting like dumbbells, barbells, machines they are fine to use.

I've bought and returned XM3s from this seller.

My headphones ear cushion was completely flat out of the box. That aside, no other issues, so but with caution.

Good headphones, but damn if those touch controls aren't a pain. Bose got everything right with the "basic" QC line years ago (comfort, design, controls, multi pairing), but the sound sucks.
