No idea what you watch or your overall movie interests so can't really answer your question. But checkout the app called JustWatch. It's basically a content availability aggregator and gathers from like over 160 sources, including showing resolutions available per streaming service.

How do these get posted? I'm always looking at the iTunes $5 movies and sometimes they are great. But I don't want to write some complex list with all these caveats. If I just make a "great movies for 5 bucks at iTunes like Groundhog Day and tombstone" will that work?

Those were last week. Nothing good this week that I saw.

If you don't have the bandwidth, many services like Amazon Prime downgrade the video to HD/1080p.

Regardless, I personally think a 4k television is amazing for 1080p content also due to the rich color palette. 4k content though just pops.

If you have Amazon Prime, I recommend any of their 4k television series to watch in 4k.

I tried watching Bosch. It's got good ratings. Couldn't make it past the second episode. Does it get better? It's was ridiculous and boring.

The only bummer about The Sandlot is that it's just plain 4K. They haven't upgraded it with HDR yet. Hopefully they will at some point. I've had a few movies that eventually got HDR added.

You mean once you've purchased them? Yes. There's an option to download movies for offline viewing. You just go to the movie's page and there should be a download option. Amazon, Vudu and iTunes all have that option. I'm sure other services do, too.
