If you have a need to have network ports where your AP's are, you'll need PoE+. If you are in the market to extend your network along with your AP's and currently only have PoE (802.1af NOT 802.1at), look at Gigabit Power-Over-Ethernet Extender vs the GS105PE.

That other variant should allow the use of the full 30W capacity on all four POE+ ports given the 120W PSU as opposed to only around half of that power capacity for the $49 one.
Depending on what you're powering in what quantity one might want to consider the higher powered unit if eventually one might need more than
63W allocated over 4 ports.
I suppose the other possible benefit of a higher power rated version would be having more derating so one has more margin between the power
being used vs. the rating of the power supply circuitry so perhaps it would last longer, run cooler within margins, etc.
Does anyone know how good the web management options are for these vs. what is achievable with their installed software?
I have heard of switches where one cannot manage some / many options using a web browser but can only do it using some other option
like windows software, cloud management, whatever, so I'm not sure what applies to this model.
