The $5625.00 is a price mistake, that's the price for the real life flying galactic starship, not the tiny replica charger.

I bought this for a gift last time it was on sale. The person loves it but when charging it will randomly keep turning on and off, intermittently charging. Since it seems to be failing it just sits there but never actually gets used to charge anything. So bummed about that.

Not sure how a "bad" wireless charger will cause a phone to heat up. Phone batteries usually heat up during charging based on power (P=IV).
