It does not exclude preorders or Sony 1st party games, at least for right now. I just preordered Horizon Forbidden West for PS5 for $39.xx after the discount. This is a great deal.

I contacted chat and she was really nice. She was willing to wait for me to add the games and then place the order so she could manually discount 40%. I got Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Arceus preorders.

I told rep the discount was showing in the cart, but it didn't apply at final page or email receipt. He said "well that offer expired but it hasn't been updated yet which is why it didn't work". He gave it to me as a one time courtesy since I have been using Target for so long.

Does anyone know if this works like the B2G1 and we can cancel items from the order(once placed) and it will subtract the difference. For example I picked up 2 copies of the Horizon CE for $199.99 each(not including the discount) and if I cancel one of those, would it take a large portion off my order total(I don't think it would be the entire $199.99) but curious if anyone tried this and had success before I cancel one.

What all did you say to them? I tried chatting with a rep once so far, and they just told me that I couldn't use it on pre-orders.
