Andy: I would suggest you to please keep an eye on the Target Circle as the offer might get released again, the team is aware about the error and is going to update and released the offer soon.
Here's how my chat went:
In the beginning of my chat, the rep had asked if I had the game in my cart. I said no
She told me to hold while she goes and look for the 40% offer
She came back saying the offer was incorrect and being removed. Then she offered me a 10% discount on my order
I had added a preorder Nintendo Switch game to my cart in the meantime
As I was typing my message to forget about the 10% offer, she said she noticed my game in my cart and would give me the 40% discount for that game.
I had to place the order first and then she adjusted the credit for the discount
