It does not exclude preorders or Sony 1st party games, at least for right now. I just preordered Horizon Forbidden West for PS5 for $39.xx after the discount. This is a great deal.

I placed the order and they refunded me right away while being on chat. He said the deal was expired but I told him it says till October 2nd. He was like you are right and didn't want to disappoint me so offered me the deal.

Used the 40% coupon I had in my circle app for:

COD: Vanguard - Playstation 5
Horizon Forbidden West: Launch Edition - Playstation 5 (I forgot about the PS4 but didn't want to canx, so oh well)
Tiny Tina's Wonderland: Next Level Edition - Playstation 5

I got super LUCKY -- I was already logged into the target.com website and did target help via contact us. This was my first attempt.

I provided the link from within this thread "coupon shows unavailable", and chatted with the rep. It took about 25 minutes as she had to look into it but provided a manual adjustment!! I had to order first, provide the order # and she adjusted it. I didn't let her leave the chat and stalled it out until it showed up on my order page. This took about 4 minutes for it to show up as I kept F5ing. NOTE: I somehow got 38% off instead of 40% along with the 5% red card discount thus I'm not complaining ---- Look at what games I got!!!

Nice! Got Horizon Forbidden West and BF2042. I had to chat with Target reps to get BF2042 on 40% (+ the 5% REDcard)

.....probably because my wife keeps Target in business.
