It does not exclude preorders or Sony 1st party games, at least for right now. I just preordered Horizon Forbidden West for PS5 for $39.xx after the discount. This is a great deal.

That's not shipping until February. I believe it's showing sold out because they're only taking so many preorders for those editions.

Edit: Unless you meant if they were able to pre-order earlier.

Says offer unavailable for me. I have never shopped at target beyond finding a series s there recently. They gave me a 10% off coupon for my birthday that is pretty useless on anything I'd want, like digital games, especially. Can't use physical games w series s. I definitely won't shop there for full price, but i guess they don't want my business anymore.

Tried 3 different reps, no luck. Last rep saw I tried the 2 times earlier too. I think this is where the attempts end unfortunately. Any advice or insight?

Yea the person ordered three days ago but now it said pre-order sold out. Oh well

Obviously this situation is terribly frustrating.
I tried 3x on my account and got shot down every time.

I tried once on my wife's account and got it through. The agent even had to bring in a senior specialist and the specialist manually processed a refund.

I had the game in my account, and some other random stuff. And it was really no hassle - asked me my email address, said they could manually apply the discount after the order was placed, provided my order number, refund processed.

There is no rhyme or reason for this to have worked - just luck of the draw. I do think that if you have tried multiple times and have been shot down you are screwed since they see the chat history.

Who knows. All I know is GT7 Anniversary is coming in March.
