If the size is concerning you may be better off with the M1 Mac Mini running dual monitors or an ultra wide monitor. Alternatively if you like the AIO functionality of the iMac you could run a second monitor off of that.

If you're considering the Mac Mini, I would wait until Mid-October when Apple is expected to release a Mac Mini with the new M1X chip and more thunderbolt/USP-C ports. Likely to support 3 monitors if you want to go that far.
