No Edu account needed at apple site you just need to check a box at checkout stating you are a student. I just got 2 MacBook Air for my 6th grade daughters

How is this front page? 3 weeks ago it was $629 at Microcenter, for which Best Buy was happy to price match.

(By the way, I do acknowledge that the Apple student deal is still better at both $650 and $630)
