It's hard to chime in what's best for YOU when you can't describe what you are looking for.
If you are just buying because it hit FP on SD then you should get both. They are both excellent machine at great prices.

My work laptop is 16" mbp m1, which I love, but won't justify 3k for one.
15 also been a bit too big to fit in my backpack, so 13 may just do it. I'm only going with an air because I'm too cheap for a mX pro đ would love to have type c ports on right side and dual external display support though

Personally the 15inch M2 has been at $999 since basically Black Friday, so almost half a year ago. I'd want to see a $899. I believe it was $850 for Silver/Gray/Starlight and $790 for Midnight at that same Microcenter sale.

I had 15 for a while but realized it's bigger than I need and has trouble fitting in some smaller bags
