If you're rolling apple gcs, it's still cheaper to go through apple edu with the $150 gc.

...shouldn't have to do that jank bootleg back alley BS on an $1100 machine. I realize it's high performance RAM and SSD space, and it's optimized, and 8GB on a Mac isn't quite the same as on PC and page filing is much faster, but still...dayum.

It's like when they FINALLY had to up the base storage on iPhone. It was getting obscene to ask $600-$700 for a phone with 32GB. The Macbook is "that guy" now, with RAM. It's time to go to 16GB.

I guess that shows that demand for the 15" MBA has cooled off to the point that there is lots of inventory and not much demand, especially for a base configuration that many people aren't interested in.

Very reluctantly, but got a 512GB model for my wife. Feel violated by Apple pricing. Oh well, I saved $200.

Reports saying 15 inch m2 mba isn't selllng well at $1299 msrp

$1199 edu pricing

Mba m2 13.6 at $1099/$999 edu pricing attracts consumers more.

If people are gonna to spend $1300 on mba 15. They will likely just splurge and get Mac book pro with better screen and speakers for $300-400 more (on sale)

Might be just me, but paying 1K for 8GB of soldered-in ram is almost a guarantee to be roped in for another "upgrade" in 3-5 years.
