I would agree that surface contamination appears to be low risk compared to other transmission pathways according to the data we have so far. However, saying flatly that Covid cannot be spread through surface contamination is just wrong, at least according to our current understanding.
Words matter, especially when making absolute statements about scientific facts or theories.
