Be careful guys. There will be no confirmation in email about gift cards. ATT gives hard time to honor the promotion. It is notorious for that.

i've got the gigabit fiber ATT 1000 plan at $49.99 per month ( with $10 equipment fee waived) just ask nicely after a month or two and they will remove the equipment fee , oh it includes HBO Max for free

the 250 is 200 plus 50 with offer code FALL50? you may try another code ACTNOW to replace the current code for additional 150, so totally should be 200+150=350.

Great sign on bonus for internet service, but the coverage of AT&T fiber is painful, none of my address have its service.

** best conditions you might get**
1000 MBPS = 125MB
250 MBPS = 31.25 MB
50 MBPS = 6.25 MB

So where is the deal, they are just robbing you without a gun!

BE smart out there MBPS is not the same as MB!

I got the 1000 fiber the first day it came to my area in July. I called about my gift card in August it take me talking to 2 manager and several associates to the loyal department to get my 200$ gift card sent because someone didn't put it on my account. They said it would take 3 weeks to get it, I waited 1 month still no gift card. I called two days ago and I was told it was sent to the wrong address. Now it as to be resent now I have to wait another 3 weeks. I don't understand how since my correct is on my account which they got the address from in the first place. Bad experience not worth it.

Ditto here. I've had ATT Fiber for at least 3 years now at this rate, no equipment charge. Everyone else around me has similar. They've even gotten better about calling in to rerate, it use to be a good, painful 15-20 minutes but this time it took maybe 5.

it all depends on availability. There's a HUGE difference of just a few miles between high speed fiber optic and no internet other than satellite or hotspot.
Worse than that. The back half of my block has ATT Fiber.
The front half of the block, the same block, they will only offer some old uverse that maxes out at 50/1.5 or something shitty and useless. So I'm stuck on comcrap, been this way for 4+ years.
I'm getting real close to digging a trench and running a underground fiber from my rear buddy, or building to building unifi.

Call, say my promo is expiring and they give me the best advertised rate. This has been the status quo for ATT internet since 1999 when I first signed up for ATT DSL. I've never heard this NOT working for anyone.

Edit: the current rate has to expire before they can add a new promo. So it costs me a buck or two there a year

The thing is my promo rate already expired almost a year ago. Can I still say that?

At least you get something that is pretty much unlimited. Satellite and hotspots are VERY limited in their bandwidth allocation.
Hughesnet, for example, charges $90 for a 20GB per MONTH. Most people use that up in about 3 days. Unlimited? Last check was $150 and they will still throttle if you go over a certain limit (not stop you, but slow you down).
And trying to stream any movies even at SD? Forget it. HN buffers so badly in some areas, it's 20 seconds movie, 40 seconds buffering, 20 seconds movie, 40 seconds buffering...

Your 50/1.5 is lightning speed compared to some hotspot service, which on a good day in some areas may hit 2/0.08, on a bad day, you may not even crack 1/0.05. That latter borders on just about on the ol' 56kbps dial up modem speeds when trying to load modern websites (not even a mini video and don't bother streaming)...

I looked up my address. AT&T said they could offer me 768Kbps DSL for $49.99 per month.

And we call ourselves a developed nation...

is anyone else having trouble redeeming the additional gift cards? I had the $350 in gift cards promo; just switched over, and it seems like they'll give you the $150 no problem... but good luck getting the remaining it seems.
