Reviews weren't hot eh? It won't be long until the comments bubble over with all of the reviews. I don't want to land in hot water for giving my opinion but I think this kettle is cool and would fit me to a tea! The price is a little steep so I'll have to simmer on it a bit.

I was about to jump on this, but the reviews are not that hot for these products, check amazon and other sites before you buy, the cheap one get very hot on the outside when you try to pick it up

Can't comment directly on this product but let me tell you their customer service is atrocious. Currently you can't talk to a person live and I've been waiting a month to return a grinder which was sent DOA. After videos and 10+ emails still waiting.

Bought the 34 oz stainless steel, inner wall is plastic, I hate the oval design instead of round, make it harder to place on the bottom plate since it need to latch on. Overall doesn't worth it's price

I suggest clicking on the links for their website, as they have several other models at even lower price points. However, if you intend to use this to make hot water for miso soup (or to illegally amp up the proof of your cheap drugstore vodka, lol), I suggest getting the more expensive double-walled model that has temperature control (though in truth an electric kettle with user-settable temperature control would probably be better than that one, as it only has temperature presets).

got the double walled. im finding that 1. i never need 1l worth of hot water. 2. the big handle makes the kettle take up more counter space than necessary and 3. the printing of the temperature settings for the dial have been rubbing off. rubbing off from just water. pretty disappointing.

EDIT: I was able to reach a Bodum person via [email protected] and they mailed me a replacement for free. Product purchase was within one year though and I had to send them a video of the leaking issue.
