Well, I'm not sure why they're always a bad deal, just know that a 12" medium vs. a 14" large translates in to a 36% larger pizza.

Personally, I don't think you can beat the $7.99 large 3 topping carry out everyday special.

Medium Domino's is 12" diameter = 113 sq. inches. Large Domino's is 14" diameter = 154 sq. inches, or 36% more pizza than a medium (assuming equal thickness). Large pizza is usually less than 136% the price of a medium.

At my local Dominos it's $14 for a large 1-topping hand-tossed vs $12 for a medium. So for a 16% price increase it's 36% more pizza.

You're right, the pizza is thinner if you get the hand tossed. If you choose the handmade pan, it's between the hand tossed and the pan pizza from Pizza Hut - so less ticker than pan pizza from Pizza Hut - but may be to your liking:-)
Thats what I noticed too if they have promo or BOGO expect the pizza wont be the same as buying at regular price, last time i used my rewards to get free 1 topping medium the crust is thinner I think thats the marketing strategy they don't want to loose their profit LMAO😁

Dominos pizza? No thanks! Last one I had was terrible. Would rather eat a frozen pizza.
There are some excellent frozen pizzas. I prefer Connie's. We had dominos 2 days ago and all i could taste an hour later was garlic (from the crust?).

Red Baron frozen pizzas are $2.49 when they're on sale at Kroger, and they're delicious if you don't overcook/undercook them. I only get the plain cheese pizzas though, so I can't really speak for the other varieties.

so to reiterate, this doesn't stack with the 7.99 carryout pizza?

Thank you! I'd not received an email about that BOGO code. Was able to use 2 $5 gift cards I had. Scoring 2 medium pizzas for less than $5 total 😁.

because there were already tons of posts mentioning things it doesn't stack with, so I figured someone already knew the answer, as is the case 99.99% of the times

in any case, I did check just now and it doesn't stack with carryout either. so not a good deal imo. 7.99 large is better

Tonight I ordered two mediums for $5.99 each, and still got a coupon code for a free medium pizza on my next purchase. When the delivery driver arrived, he included a cheesy bread as a freebie, part of a promotion going on.

Can't say if this works for every location.

Edit to clarify: I did not enter a code at checkout. After checkout, the website sent me a code for a free medium. Maybe a fluke?

When you compare the $5.99 medium 2-topping vs $7.99 large 3-topping deal the difference is less dramatic. You pay 33% more for a 36% bigger pie, the savings per square inch of pizza is 2.0%. One might be willing to pay the extra 2% for variety. I know in my house no one can agree on toppings. So 2 medium pizzas give us 4 combinations. Also it is easier to control the quantity of food you buy as in 2, 3, or 4 medium pizzas compared to 1 or 2 large pizza.
