I was debating to buy it when Google Pay coupon was still valid. I think I will wait for same promotion or lesser price, seems like the 32in 4k 144hz is going to be more available from various brands and my 32in 4k 60z is still performs like a champ but tempted so I can use 3090 with full potential lol.

There are still a few reasons to buy a monitor over a TV. For example, you need a screen with very high refresh rate, ie. 240 or even 360hz. The other thing to consider is if you need a widescreen (curved) such as a 34 or 49" monitor. And finally the last reason is size. Most people don't have the real estate or desire to sit in front of a 55" or larger screen.

Other than that, TVs are catching up or beating monitors in almost every single way. This wasn't the case a few years ago. But now more and more TVs possess VRR, Freesync, high refresh rates, low input mode etc... Typically features that only existed in monitors. TVs are better suited for console gaming and more and more people are also using it for their PC gaming as well. So imo, even at this price point, it still seems steep for most customers (most people don't own a 3090 or 3080 anyway). So that's why I don't think this is getting much attention here.

Haha, in the same boat as an early-ish 32in 4K monitor adopter with my HP Spectre VA 60hz panel no HDR and 2 giant speakers on sides, but it's still working perfectly. But, I don't have a fancy 3090 (I didn't know there was such a thing) so can't justify except to match my 2 old portrait mode Dell black monitors I use on sides of the HP 4K, and to finally reclaim the real estate the side speakers take on the desk.

As cards gets better, 4K will become cheaper at higher refresh rates. This is quite the early adopter tax compared to the M32Q.

I got a M32U. Upgraded from a 27" 4K 60hz screen that I've been using for 6 years. Once you go 4K, you never want to go back. The DPI allows for very clear text and graphics look awesome. I wanted a 144 hz upgrade and the 32" screen allowed for text that you can actually use at 100% scaling. This is perfect for work and play. You can fit a ton of spreadsheets and code on the screen and game graphics look incredibly detailed. The built in KVM for swapping between work and play computers is instantaneous. HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, all the latest connections are here.

In an age where phone screens have 1440p and higher, why would you want 1440p on a giant screen? You can get a 32" 1440p screen. But that is like looking at 27" 1080p screen DPI at that big a size. You may as well get a 27" screen as that real estate is wasted with giant pixels..

The bang for the buck is here as this is the most well featured 32" 4K 144hz IPS screen you can get for this price. Of course, you need a powerful GPU to drive the screen at higher frame rates. There will always be better so you can always wait but you can say that about anything - for now, this is a great deal.

3080ti guy here, don't get a 60hz 4k monitor. Get this. I bought this monitor and play COD MW. With dlss and performance, I'm able to game on 4k and get over 144hz.
