Not sure, but on both accounts, it only showed the usual flex pay and other crappy offers they're constantly emailing about.

Bought $200 Amazon GC at Best Buy on Sunday. Today, logged into my card, and the offer is gone completely. Not redeemed, not enrolled, nothing. Can't wait to see how this plays out.,

Tip: Take Screenshots of the offer added to your card.

Sunday is yesterday. Did you expect the credit to show up today?

I think his point is the offer simply vanished without any other info after he had made the purchase.

AMEX offers will show the offer has been redeemed, along with an email notifying you.

I'm not complaining that I don't see the credit. I'm saying the offer vanished completely, that's not a good sign

Best Buy gift cards aren't eligible. Third party gift cards are okay and were credited.

How do you know the Third Party gift cards are ok? No one has been credited the $50 off $200 yet.

Citi will likely deny this showing the fine print.

By the time anyone is or isn't credited, the deal is over if Citi is anything like US Bank.
That is what is risky with buying gift cards.

So then you recommend NOT buying the Gift cards, since we will NOT be credited?
Also what do you mean when you say Citi is like Us Bank? I don't have their credit cards so wasn't sure on what they do.

I am hypothesizing whether Citi acts like US Bank.
I know for US Bank, it takes 3 business cycles for an offer to credit.

Apparently it isn't the case based on @mitchflorida.
