Anyone else with posting date of 10/5 got credit?
I ordered 10/5 but did not see the credit on my account. My order has two items but was separated into three transactions, which is weird. I called Citi and they asked me to contact Bestbuy. I don't think I will get the credit. This is so frustrating... I am gonna wait until my next month's statement. If it's not showing up, I will cancel my Citi Double Cash card. This card used to have the Price Rewind benefit and I have other cashback cards.
There was a time when Citi had a similar offer for Target purchases. My transaction was split shown as individual items and disqualified for the offer. I don't want to deal with fake offers/deals from Citi anymore. Unlike Amex offers, I always get them immediately the same day or the day after the transaction was posted.
It seems like transactions made on 10/05 all got an issue of credits not being posted. My brother made a purchase of $200 Amazon GCs in one transaction on 10/05 and he did not see the credit. The offer still shows "enrolled" after 12 days. He called Citi and spent 45 minutes with the rep. The rep finally told him to contact Best Buy. My brother was upset, saying the offer is from Citi and it doesn't make sense that he needs to go back to Best Buy for an offer from Citi. The rep insisted Best Buy is aware of the issue. Bunches of craps! I think he will not receive the credit but a person from another blogs said he received his credit one month after making a purchase of another offer.

Best Buy would have to refund you the $200 for the gift card and then resubmit the $200 charge to Citibank, which will never happen. Calling BB is a waste of time.
If you bought merchandise at BB, you could return it for a refund and then try buying it again.

I believe split of transactions are controlled by BB, not Citi. Citi might credit if it's posted as a single transaction of $200 or more.
To avoid these ridiculous splits, safe bet is to purchase from store.
I purchased 200 Amazon gift card online for pick up on 10/5 I still not received 50 credit my purchase not split, show 200 charge on my citi card ,what should I do
My brother called Citi again and spoke to a supervisor. The supervisor said she will escalate the issue and will get back to my brother in 48 hours. I suggest you do the same. See my previous post.
The Citi Merchant Offers page is so buggy. Offers show on and off. If the Best Buy offer disappears all of a sudden, it would be more difficult to fight with Citi.

Purchased on 10/5: $200 in a single transaction. NO CREDIT YET.
Another offer: Citi BP for $10 - 10/11 transaction, already says redeemed. $10 credit posted.
Called Citi TWICE. One Rep said wait for 90 days.
The other Rep said contact Bestbuy.
I do NOT get this. The single transaction is $200 -- why would Citi deny the credit?
What would BestBuy do about this? It posted fine on the account and is as per the terms.

They are NOT budging. The offer still shows enrolled on my account after 12 days.
They just keep on saying contact Bestbuy.
I even told them that I have a friend whose credit from 10/6 transaction posted. The rep says - Bestbuy did something wrong and Citi cannot do anything about it. They didn't even connect me to a supervisor.
What are the next steps to escalate this? It was a GC purchase and I cannot return that.

If it was best buy fault, can we dispute the charge?

Why would it be Best buy's fault? The transaction posted fine on the card for $200. The rep told me it shows fine on their system as a GC purchase.
BB customer service had no clue about the offer and said it's controlled by your credit card company. I believe they are right, since it's Citi's offer.
This is crappy customer service from Citi honestly. Looks like only one date 10/5 has a problem. Everyone else got their credit. Clearly it's some issue in their systems about transactions on that date. They are NOT even bothering to acknowledge it, much less correct it.
I really don't know what else to do. I'll try one last time tomorrow to see if I can get hold of a supervisor.
This is a big no no! The merchant does not care about your payment method as long as it is a valid payment. They also do not care your credit card rewards. The offer is on Citi website. Credit is to be issued to customer's Citi account as statement credit. How is Best Buy supposed to get involved? Citi should be responsible but they are trying to get rid of it!

You may have no choice but to call Best Buy and see what they say about giving you the credit.

I only had $15 but that helps because I'm heading to Best Buy later today to pick something up!
