Found this digital torque wrench at Sears for $119, down from original price of $299. I know that's inflated, but similar I've seen were at least $200. However, if you just need one occasionally, O'Reilly has toque wrenches in their tool loan program. Maybe also at AutoZone.

This is pretty slick for digital type. If you need for occasional use I'd do the Harbor Freight Icon.

Not one review! I will pass! Craftsman gave up any reputation for being a reputable tool company over a decade ago! Gone are the days of walking through the Sears Tool Dept for 1-2 hours and picking up one of these and two of those! Sears continues grasping for air on life support as most of us diehard Craftsman fans have found other companies to replace Sears with our tool purchases! They don't even offer the good points anymore with purchases which is why I haven't made a Craftsman Purchase of anything for about 3 years.

.
Searching for a reasonably priced torque wrench with audible feedback, according to the owner's manual [sears.com], this one does not.

Since most anyone can calibrate the regular click models that should be done every year or every 5,000 clicks, whichever comes first, I think I will stay with the much cheaper click models over electronic without audio.

FWIW these are different than the ones sears used to sell. Not sure who is making them now for them. Warranty is also one year not lifetime typically on digital vs normal hand tool warranty.

For that price, buy USA made torque wrenches....precision instruments or CDI.

Do they have one that goes up to 250 ft/lbs for $10?

Ahhh well that it true. Mine is 20 to 150, true. I haven't yet needed anything above 100 in my auto DIY stuff but yes if someone needs up to 250 then I agree my HF wouldn't work. And I see they are now 24.99 at HF and no more coupons anymore at that store so can't get it for 9.99 I guess

Let it go already. There only 19 Sears stores left in the whole country (down from 3500).

fwiw- For the 3/8" version of this torque wrench, there are 3 reviews and they're all 1 Star.
