This is a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor (ultrawide) not a 16:9, so 1440p is a fairly common resolution. 4k ultrawides (5120×2160 aka 5K 2K) are still somewhat rare at this point, not to mention you'd need something pretty beefy to push that many pixels if you're even thinking about gaming on it. Oh yeah, and would set you back at least a grand more than $250.

By the way, not advocating for this monitor. Some many not be happy with a flat 34" monitor, a curve really helps in this size range. The stand sucks too. Not a terrible price for what it is, but not my cup of tea.

Costco warranty might make it worth it. Amazon has it for 359$. More relevant specs from manf. website:
VA Panel
Brightness 300cd/m2
Resolution 3,440 x 1,440
DP v1.2x1
HDMI v2.0x1, v1.4x1
75 Hz refresh rate
4ms response time

Edit: didn't see OP linked to spec sheet. Sorry for repetition!

I have this monitor. Gets plenty bright. Text is sharp and very readable. No PWM. My screen has no backlight bleed. I am running it at 75Hz through display port off an RTX 3070.

I have gotten used to the widescreen without a curve. Sometimes when web browsing if snap two windows on L/R of screen I never really get comfortable until I put the main window in the middle.

The color is dull (have not calibrated), some color shift if you don't sit in sweet spot (the middle), stand has no height adjustment I could find, and only 75Hz.

It is 1440P and the bezel is thin.

I would of preferred a non matte screen.

I got this cheap from a guy who purchased 50 of these for day trading for his office and went remote due to covid.

Anyone having issues with these? I have one barely a year old ( manufactured in April 2021) and the the panel went and now vertical lines in one area. Opened it up - no receipt so no chance of warranty support - and found one of the flex cables super hot and a shorted part on the other side of it. Damn shame that it will be scrapped. I would have kept using it in a pinch but the heat on that cable is too much.

If you bought it at Costco they can look up your receipt ...
