Been debating if I will switch to Sams Club from Costco since my membership has expired with Costco. I went to my local Sams Club.yesterday and it convinced me to stay with Costco. Costco just have more.to offer and their Signature Kirkland products seem more superior in quality than the Members Mark. Just my opinion

I have both currently.. and i feel there are certain member's marks products that might be better than the kirkland equivalent like kitchen towels.. that said, if i had to choose just one, it'd be costco but i will keep a sams club membership as long as i can land free memberships after gift card..

It sounds like one or two were able to get the gift card emailed later. I am also one of the majority that did not get the gift card and will have to mess around with customer service online to get it.

So for new members only. Been doing the spouse switch trick every year when the 45/45 rolls around, and I think this is why Costco has 18 months. Is Sams also 18 months? or 12 months to be qualified as "new"?

This is the deal I used to join. My local club was/is still using both physical and digital membership cards, so I walked in to the service desk at front of store, showed them the membership confirmation email, then showed the $45 gift card coupon and they loaded it in the spot and handed it to me.

Additionally, my credit card was running a promo at the time that offered a $45 statement credit, so this was actually a money-maker for me. So, check your own if you're looking at this offer anyway!
