Seriously, if you want to game while travelling and with a thin and light - there's nothing better out there.
I have the 3050ti version - 11/10 would buy again!

-16:10 seems to give me a better view of things even though it's only a few pixels
-The pen I got off amazon works perfectly with this. The brand I got was the RENAISSER Stylus Pen for Surface with USB C charging. It works just fine and very accurate.
- The temps do get hot but that's expected because of the 5900H in such a small form factor and the fans are not gonna keep it cool enough to be in the 70s like other larger laptops
-DO NOT get this for gaming. The screen itself has a bit of a delay like 20ms+ and you will notice it when playing games. It feels like lag on a bad internet connection but for non competitive games it's perfectly fine.
-External eGPU is great as it adds ports you would want and also allowing you to use an external with DP is awesome. Drives my LG Ultra wide at 1440p and at 144hs without issue.
There are other laptops out there but if you want to do some photo edits with the stylus it's freaking awesome. Do some typing it's great as the keyboard has a nice travel and feel to it. Portable in weight and size and power brick you can use a small 100W USB C charger if you want but it won't allow your laptop to go into turbo mode which is full power and fans which is only capable with the ASUS provided charger. Battery life has been pretty damn good. I had it recently for work and 6 hours straight of emails and web browsing and battery was at 32% after I was done. It's a great portable but don't expect it to be a gaming laptop.

- Temps are excellent for a laptop period. in the 80s at full load, other gaming laptops in this price range tend to all run far hotter as the good cooling solutions don't get put in the $1000 price point options, so those usually run into the 90s.
-The ghosty screen can be annoying at times but if you're competitive enough for it to be a problem, you wouldn't be playing on a 13 inch screen. I've played ranked Siege in Platinum rank and picking out targets on a 13 inch screen at the same distance I'm used to with a 27 inch display is the biggest difficulty.
-Another thing to note is like similarly featured ultrabooks, it is finicky with going to sleep. Brushing the side mounted power button(which is the fingerprint reader) with anything capacitive before it has fully gone to sleep will wake it up despite being closed.
All in all this laptop is incredible to use and is built well, with far few QC issues than similarly prices Asus "gaming" laptops, ie Zephyrus. I got mine for College about two months back for the same price. $1350 for the definitive Ultrabook experience is worth it. It does what a high end XPS 13 2in1 does and more for several hundred less.
- How bright is the screen? I just need 1080p and i think its 350nitts. is it bright enough to work in a lit room?
- I'm gonna use this laptop for mechanical engineering and data science at undergrad level and hopefully it'll last me 5 years. The 16gb kinda concerns me.
