Great game to learn and play together as a couple. Games can drag on and get convoluted with more than three people, but it is doable. Not overly aggressive of a game in terms of 1 vs 1 competition (though there are some cards that cause conflict), so it mostly is you playing your tactic strategy vs theirs.

I'd recommend getting this, and playing just the base game for a few weeks, and then when you feel like you understand the game completely and all the cards, then play only the expansion to shake things up and then play both packs together in draft style or random style Big Grin

Great deal! Love this game.
Packed it bad on a trip and now my cards all mixed up 🥲
Deck building game where you change up how you build your deck each time. You start with basic cards to try and buy cards from a general market, those cards get shuffled into your deck when it runs out and you do it again with them being part of your deck. Fun strategy and crazy card combos.
Recommend it, best with 4 people, but still great fun with 6.
6 new people can be a long game time with new players.

It doesn't look like they come in their respective boxes from the product review photos. Both games appear to be in the same box in one giant plastic insert. I don't have this one but I bought a big box Carcassonne and it couldn't be split up like that. Hope that helps!

Dominion's a great game, though it's definitely one where the online version (dominion.games) is better in pretty much every measurable way aside from being able to play in person. If you happen to have friends for whom meeting in person is difficult, skip this and buy a subscription on dominion.games. It is so much easier to manage. They did a great job with it.
