Additional Slickdeals Rewards Bonus

Slickdeals is offering an additional $75 via Slickdeals Rewards Points when you open a new Axos Bank High Yield Savings account and fund the account with $250 or more after following the instructions below.

This Slickdeals Rewards Bonus is a new way to more accurately track your account opening bonuses with our partners. This differs from the Slickdeals Rebates Program and strives to solve many of the issues you may have encountered in the past. You can learn more about our new Slickdeals Rewards Program here.
  • No more submitting rebate forms or receipts.
  • Automated tracking of purchases and point statuses.
  • Faster payouts and easy redemption via PayPal or gift cards.
Note: the $75 bonus will be sent to your Slickdeals Rewards account within 30 calendar days after you've installed the Slickdeals Shopping Assistant Browser Extension, Enrolled in Slickdeals Rewards, opened & funded your new Axos Bank High Yield Savings Account, and kept the account open for at least 6 months.

To qualify for the additional bonus, please follow these steps:
  • Step 1: Install the Slickdeals Shopping Assistant Browser Extension (if you don't already have it installed) and follow the SD Rewards Prompts here (PC or Laptop Only)
  • Step 2: Follow the additional prompts in the link above to ensure you're enrolled in SD Rewards and your account is registered/signed-in. You need to have an account to track and redeem your rewards.
  • Step 3: Once you're logged into your Slickdeals account, click the the green See Deal button, or the links at the top of the post, and open and fund your new Axos Bank High Yield Savings account. If you are in Classic view, click either of the links at the top of the thread. You must apply through the link on this page in order to receive the $75 bonus.
  • Step 4: Do not close the Axos Bank High Yield Savings window prior to confirming and funding your new account. Closing the window may make you ineligible for the $75 bonus.
    • NOTE: If you do NOT fund the account with the full $250 during this process, you may not receive the bonus. Please be sure to fully fund with at least $250 as soon as you open the account.
  • Step 5: Once you open and fund your new Axos Bank High Yield Savings account, you will be able to track your order here. You should expect to receive your $75 bonus via Slickdeals Rewards Points within 30 calendar days of funding your account and keeping it open for a minimum of 6 months. The initial account opening will show as Ineligible in the Rewards Portal, as it is not associated to a dollar amount. Once your funds clear at Axos Bank, we'll get an update with information about your funded account.
  • Your Axos account must be open for a minimum of 6 months in order to receive the bonus.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for us to give you credit for your purchases you must disable ad blockers or whitelist the Slickdeals Extension. Also, if you use other cashback or coupon extensions, only the one you use last will get credit for your purchase, so if you want your Slickdeals Rewards points, please remember not to activate other extensions while shopping.
The $75 bonus offer is provided solely by Slickdeals and is unrelated to any benefits or offers provide by Axos Bank. Axos Bank is not responsible for the $75 bonus.

Slickdeals is pleased to make this offer available to you. Please follow the instructions carefully to help avoid any processing issues. You generally will not see your Axos cashback pending in the portal until after your deposit clears (typically takes about a week).

Everything tracked, but shows as ineligible? Funded the account with 250 as required.
Same issue. Completed my funding on opening, everything cleared and over 2 weeks later still didn't have anything.

Open up a ticket on the Rewards site and it will get resolved.

I opened a ticket about 10 days ago and today it finally went through. My wife funded same day as me and had same issue and she opened a ticket just a few days ago and hers is now through as well.

I suspect they had some delays so if yours isn't cleared in a day or two open a ticket and it should get resolved.

Bad experience on Axos end, account opening required further review which is beyond mind boggling for such account type, with fico score of 828, immediately called and canceled application, if account opening is such a pain then dealing with them on regular basis forget about it. On the side note I never had any issue with slickdeal side of things, it worked for me everything, for those who struggle with their rebates they should create a new profile in Chrome browser with no other extensions beside slickdeal extension and you will never have an issue.

I was going to make Axos my main bank. However, there was one problem after another. I didn't mind that there were problems and having to call to get things fixed, but the customer support people have absolutely no power to fix anything. And after they establish that they can't fix anything, they just "bump" you up to another support person they call "tier 2" that is equally unable to fix anything. Half the time you get a voicemail when you call support and they frequently won't even call you back.
I got my most of my money out of there because I was concerned if they'd be able to remain solvent with these customer support issues. I am gambling by leaving money with Axos invest (formerly wisebanyon) because I am considered a "founder" and I am not charged the fees everyone else is.

Finally got out of Invest earlier this year after being there since the beginning. The hardest part was getting an accurate account number to have money pulled from to go into other IRA. Great concept but apparently you can't have something for nothing. Really wanted it to do well but with the too regular switches in custodians and owners it was time to bail.

HM Bradley gives 3% up to 100k as another option

HMBRADLEY is changing their model. Just got an e-mail about it. You need their credit card to get 3%. And the CC is a $60 annual fee.

Yeah, and you need $100 in CC transactions, and $2500/mo DD. I just got my tier 1 status, and then seen this, i'll move my car payments over and put more of my paycheck, and charge streaming/phone bills. Quite a few hoops

HMBradley changed their policy, now they require their credit card to get the 3%

I second this. Lots of issues with this bank. Would not recommend.

Once again.. it's fdic or not .. I hate this "deposit acc vs investment acc" .. chillax.. it's 10k. I have a good 7 digit in investments.

Last.. it's Roth IRA.. why would u put money into a retirement that costs $ to take out now?

Find a good fdic that's higher than 1% these days. What's your alternative for fdic, no risk up to 250k sole owner account.

Yea…in there's two reasons to not use a Roth if you're qualified - too dumb or too poor. There's no other reason anyone would rather pay taxes on their gains instead of no taxes. There's a reason why even billionaires like Peter Thiel max out their Roth contributions.

P.S. anyone looking for high yield savings needs to look into US Treasury Series I Savings Bonds instead, it's currently 7.12%, backed by the US government, up to $10k/year.
