P.S. anyone looking for high yield savings needs to look into US Treasury Series I Savings Bonds instead, it's currently 7.12%, backed by the US government, up to $10k/year.

Also don't use rebates me for cash back. They will find whatever reason not to pay out
Nexo has multimillion llyods of London backed insurance policy for their stable coin/crypto deposits. Can get great yeilds on stables or you crypto if you are just holding. Sure is hell isn't fdic insurance thoughand hasn't been tested. Sure they make themselves whole before their account holders with that policy though.
High yield defi products should be PART of everyones investment portfolio as it will have a role in the future. But it is in it's infancy so not "all-in" products. For example put 1-5% in a staked stable coin (UST) for about 20%yield and take a looped/leverage loan against it on abracadabra to buy more UST, stake the loaned amount and take a loan against the loan, ect. It allows for 100%apy. Being leverage and crypto it is possible to lose all of you money, but it's a fairly stable product with legit doxxed backing (not a terrorist group Sen Warren). Make it a small %of your portfolio so if you lose money you are still in the game but this is a stable and easy yield protocol that could turn that 1-5% into 5-10% of your $ given time. That's not even close to the +10000% apy yield ponzi games like OHM and TIME you can play in this space if you educate yourself. Google is your friend here to make sound decisions.
But always keep emergency funds in this crap "high yield" (.6%🙄) online banks. Do realize some of these make take DAYS to access your $$$$ with transfers to a checking/debit account.

Even tmobile checking gives 1%
Agree. Tmobile seems to be the best right now to use as a savings account (that I've found so far) that you don't have to do squat except park your money in it. Only issue i have is it takes ages to move money into it. Haven't tried moving money out but probably would take just as long.
