This Slickdeals Rewards Bonus is a new way to more accurately track your account opening bonuses with our partners. • No more submitting rebate forms or receipts.
  • Automated tracking of purchases and point statuses.
  • Faster payouts and easy redemption via PayPal or gift cards.
Note: the $75 bonus will be sent to your Slickdeals Rewards account within 30 calendar days after you've installed the Slickdeals Shopping Assistant Browser Extension, Enrolled in Slickdeals Rewards, opened & funded your new Axos Bank High Yield Savings Account, and kept the account open for at least 6 months.

To qualify for the additional bonus, please follow these steps:
  • Step 1: Install the Slickdeals Shopping Assistant Browser Extension (if you don't already have it installed) and follow the SD Rewards Prompts here (PC or Laptop Only)
  • Step 2: Follow the additional prompts in the link above to ensure you're enrolled in SD Rewards and your account is registered/signed-in. You need to have an account to track and redeem your rewards.
  • Step 3: Once you're logged into your Slickdeals account, click the the green See Deal button, or the links at the top of the post, and open and fund your new Axos Bank High Yield Savings account. You should expect to receive your $75 bonus via Slickdeals Rewards Points within 30 calendar days of funding your account and keeping it open for a minimum of 6 months. Once your funds clear at Axos Bank, we'll get an update with information about your funded account.
  • Your Axos account must be open for a minimum of 6 months in order to receive the bonus.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for us to give you credit for your purchases you must disable ad blockers or whitelist the Slickdeals Extension. Also, if you use other cashback or coupon extensions, only the one you use last will get credit for your purchase, so if you want your Slickdeals Rewards points, please remember not to activate other extensions while shopping.

Yea…in there's two reasons to not use a Roth if you're qualified - too dumb or too poor. There's no other reason anyone would rather pay taxes on their gains instead of no taxes. There's a reason why even billionaires like Peter Thiel max out their Roth contributions.

P.S. anyone looking for high yield savings needs to look into US Treasury Series I Savings Bonds instead, it's currently 7.12%, backed by the US government, up to $10k/year.
In case someone missed it.

Is this deal better than the CIT high yield savings? Looks similar to me.

They threatened to close my account because I bought some crypto on Coinbase. They told me they did not allow this. Since when does a so called back dictate how I spend my money? I closed the account for them. Also it's all online if you have an issue be prepared to be patient and wait days to have it resolved.

0.6% apy is decent but there are plenty of banks that offer between 1%-3%

0.61% APY? Oh boy! That should not be affected AT ALL by inflation and your money will TOTALLY be worth more sitting in a low-yield savings account than investing in almost anything else... /s

How many DD do you have?? 1 job = 1 DD
Not true. I could split my paycheck between multiple institutions. My company does payroll with ADP, which I imagine is pretty popular so I'm guessing others could do this as well. Of course it may not make a lot of financial sense to split your paycheck in such a way as for it to count for multiple institutions. Axos, for example, might say it only counts as DD if it's over $2000 a month. For a lot of people it might not work to split $4k per month over two accounts.

Looks like a bad deal since SD is hit or miss on bonus cash delivery

Also don't use rebates me for cash back. They will find whatever reason not to pay out

Anyone have luck with this? When I use the link above it goes to the site and SD shows a green check next to the 75 reward as activated but as I continue and created my account login I noticed the SD extension grayed out. I don't want to continue with the actual savings opening unless I know its active?

Been intrigued by these high yield usdc based accounts, but they're Not FDIC insured if that matters to you. What's the guarantee they don't take your money and run?

Nexo has multimillion llyods of London backed insurance policy for their stable coin/crypto deposits. Can get great yeilds on stables or you crypto if you are just holding. Sure is hell isn't fdic insurance thoughand hasn't been tested. Sure they make themselves whole before their account holders with that policy though.

High yield defi products should be PART of everyones investment portfolio as it will have a role in the future. But it is in it's infancy so not "all-in" products. For example put 1-5% in a staked stable coin (UST) for about 20%yield and take a looped/leverage loan against it on abracadabra to buy more UST, stake the loaned amount and take a loan against the loan, ect. It allows for 100%apy. Being leverage and crypto it is possible to lose all of you money, but it's a fairly stable product with legit doxxed backing (not a terrorist group Sen Warren). Make it a small %of your portfolio so if you lose money you are still in the game but this is a stable and easy yield protocol that could turn that 1-5% into 5-10% of your $ given time. That's not even close to the +10000% apy yield ponzi games like OHM and TIME you can play in this space if you educate yourself. Google is your friend here to make sound decisions.

But always keep emergency funds in this crap "high yield" (.6%🙄) online banks. Do realize some of these make take DAYS to access your $$$$ with transfers to a checking/debit account.

High yield my a$$.

Even tmobile checking gives 1%

Agree. Tmobile seems to be the best right now to use as a savings account (that I've found so far) that you don't have to do squat except park your money in it. Only issue i have is it takes ages to move money into it. Haven't tried moving money out but probably would take just as long.
