  • Faster payouts and easy redemption via PayPal or gift cards.

  • Step 1: Install the Slickdeals Shopping Assistant Browser Extension (if you don't already have it installed) and follow the SD Rewards Prompts here (PC or Laptop Only)
  • Step 2: Follow the additional prompts in the link above to ensure you're enrolled in SD Rewards and your account is registered/signed-in. You need to have an account to track and redeem your rewards.

Savings accounts are a scam, just put your money in a crypto savings high apy acc.... I opened my discover savings acc back in college and after 3 years it accumulated like $100... switched over to a crypto one and it did that in like a month..... Banks are straight up scams...

There is something called risk.

I agree with you that you should take more risk then just put your money in the bank but crypto is considered VERY risky due to how volatile it is.

They say you should put 10% in Crypto and 90% in the market.

I signed up for SoFi but still have not received $75 Slickdeals Rewards, even after sending all screenshots.

So, you most likely will not receive $75 Slickdeals Rewards for this too.

Etfcu gives 3.3% APY on 20k if you're looking for a higher yield savings account
HM Bradley gives 3% up to 100k as another option

EDIT: HM Bradley has a lot more hoops to jump through for the 3% return, including a credit card with monthly spend. at this time I wouldn't advise it and I'll be moving money out soon
Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union?? What etfcu are you referring to?

You can get 12% easily. For 14.5% you have to stake $40K worth of their coin.

There are stable coin options like USDC on Voyager. Yes, crypto is typically very high risk, but stable coins are as low risk as they come. USDC is always equal to $1 and Voyager is paying 9% on it right now. I've been using this as my high yield savings. Normal bank savings accounts are a joke. You could also do Treasury I-Bills for 7%, it doesn't get much lower risk than that. So, again, calling 0.61% "High yield" is a joke.

You meant DeFi. Stands for decentralized finance.

I have invested in "DNP" (Do Not Play... at this is how I remember the name). ... it pays 6.5Cents a month and the stock is about $11.00 (I purchased it when it was $10.50).

The fund has been paying 6.5 cents a month, never missed a month since 1981. The stock price goes from $8.00 - $12.00 on average. I don't see the stock going below $10.00 for a very very long time. And I would rather buy this fund then to put my money in the bank.
