This Slickdeals Rewards Bonus is a new way to more accurately track your account opening bonuses with our partners. • No more submitting rebate forms or receipts.
  • Automated tracking of purchases and point statuses.
  • Faster payouts and easy redemption via PayPal or gift cards.
Note: the $75 bonus will be sent to your Slickdeals Rewards account within 30 calendar days after you've installed the Slickdeals Shopping Assistant Browser Extension, Enrolled in Slickdeals Rewards, opened & funded your new Axos Bank High Yield Savings Account, and kept the account open for at least 6 months.

To qualify for the additional bonus, please follow these steps:
  • Step 1: Install the Slickdeals Shopping Assistant Browser Extension (if you don't already have it installed) and follow the SD Rewards Prompts here (PC or Laptop Only)
  • Step 2: Follow the additional prompts in the link above to ensure you're enrolled in SD Rewards and your account is registered/signed-in. You need to have an account to track and redeem your rewards.
  • Step 3: Once you're logged into your Slickdeals account, click the the green See Deal button, or the links at the top of the post, and open and fund your new Axos Bank High Yield Savings account. You should expect to receive your $75 bonus via Slickdeals Rewards Points within 30 calendar days of funding your account and keeping it open for a minimum of 6 months. The initial account opening will show as Ineligible in the Rewards Portal, as it is not associated to a dollar amount. Once your funds clear at Axos Bank, we'll get an update with information about your funded account.
  • Your Axos account must be open for a minimum of 6 months in order to receive the bonus.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for us to give you credit for your purchases you must disable ad blockers or whitelist the Slickdeals Extension. Also, if you use other cashback or coupon extensions, only the one you use last will get credit for your purchase, so if you want your Slickdeals Rewards points, please remember not to activate other extensions while shopping.
The $75 bonus offer is provided solely by Slickdeals and is unrelated to any benefits or offers provide by Axos Bank. Axos Bank is not responsible for the $75 bonus.

Slickdeals is pleased to make this offer available to you. Please follow the instructions carefully to help avoid any processing issues. You generally will not see your Axos cashback pending in the portal until after your deposit clears (typically takes about a week).

ok so the funds are showing as available in my new axos account and it is still showing as ineligible in my slick deals rewards account after completing the deal and following all instructions. I just emailed screenshots and opened a support ticket. I also sent a message to skmay from this thread. Hopefully I will get a response soon.

Lie. This deal is fake. Don't know if it's Slickdeals or Axos at fault here, but it is a lie and it's a fake "deal". After jumping through all the hoops for this, not so much of an acknowledgement. When I pressed for answers, was told that "many people have reported this" and that it was being "looked into".

If you're just going to start a savings account, don' be taken in by this fake "incentive reward". Alliant FCU, Affirm Savings, Penfed Premium savings, Amex and others offer higher APR (but without the fake promo).

FAKE DEAL, Doesn't Work. Jumped through all the hoops for this, no reward. A message posted by Slickdeals that says "sorry", etc. and that they're trying to work it out. BS!

Ok explain to me the difference lol .. I said Roth IRA is retirement money. Do you even know what the word "IRA" in "Roth IRA" stands for?

You're comparing a retirement account with a 1% FDIC account.

It costs money to take out from Roth IRA because of penalty- 10%. It May be tax free (after certain age) because it's after tax money and grows tax free for Roth.. Obviously special circumstances allows you to withdraw penalty free.

You're talking to a licensed investment rep here

https://www.investopedia.com/ask/...lty%2Dfree.

Not sure if you're just trolling or uneducated but be my guest and invest all your money into Roth IRA and expect to take it out next year . You sound too young to do that penalty free though Wink
What the other mean is, IF you have money from another bank and want to put 7K per year for Roth IRA. He doesn't mean take the money our of an IRA.

I was going to make Axos my main bank. However, there was one problem after another. I didn't mind that there were problems and having to call to get things fixed, but the customer support people have absolutely no power to fix anything. And after they establish that they can't fix anything, they just "bump" you up to another support person they call "tier 2" that is equally unable to fix anything. Half the time you get a voicemail when you call support and they frequently won't even call you back.
I got my most of my money out of there because I was concerned if they'd be able to remain solvent with these customer support issues. I am gambling by leaving money with Axos invest (formerly wisebanyon) because I am considered a "founder" and I am not charged the fees everyone else is.
axo and other no name high yield banks don't meet the basic level of service. no business owners use these types

Just few reasons to stay away
  • Bad Customer Service
  • SD bonus is always iffy
  • Bank has been doing risky loans to shady people (including to Trump properties)
  • Rate is alright but isn't that great when considering above drawbacks

While I don't really care for Trump's, the fact is bank does risky loans to shady companies is a red flag

Jeez, please stop repeating your cries. We understand that you are mad.
But FYI, This deal is not FAKE. It is indeed problematic for many of us (including me).
All who it did not work for have had to ask SD to work it out when it failed to pay out, saying ineligible.

Hopefully you have already figured out how to complain to the relevant staff. IF NOT, it is in the OP.
But while I am here, let me spoonfeed it to you, just in case, because nowhere have you mentioned that SD rejected your complaint/service ticket inquiry in your ranting. I hope this helps you to calm down.

Etfcu gives 3.3% APY on 20k if you're looking for a higher yield savings account
HM Bradley gives 3% up to 100k as another option

EDIT: HM Bradley has a lot more hoops to jump through for the 3% return, including a credit card with monthly spend. at this time I wouldn't advise it and I'll be moving money out soon

I have HM Bradley and even without having their card I'm getting 1% apy, which isn't too bad. I'm considering the card since the waive the AF in year one, so that I can get 3%
