Wow, delivered the next day. in Los Angeles. FYI for any cyclists out there. It is nice however for the PSI Gauge and the effortless a Stainless.

I have this and have been using it often on for the last six months. I would not purchase this again because I underestimated the volume this thing could hold. I would buy something a little bigger. On top of that the lid doesn't sit very securely so if you leave oil in this for extended periods of time The oil is virtually exposed.

its pretty much the same exact thing as the Ovente model except that one is painted black inside and slight differences. The inside is aluminum enamel-coated aluminum if i remember correctly.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I find that a candy thermometer and a regular pot on a stove works better for me. When you're done, you can fit the whole pot in the dishwasher. While the downside is having to maintain the temperature manually, you kind of have to watch your food when deep frying, anyway. You don't want it burning, which it will do, from time to time, as you vary food amounts, the size of each piece, the spices used, etc.

Exposed element above the bottom is better as bits that fall off the food won't burn
