I'm done with deep fryer. A big pan is much better for frying everything. At least I can reuse the basket from my deep fryer.

I love my air fryer, but it's useless for actually frying. An air fryer is basically a convection oven. It circulates hot air around your food, cooking it pretty quickly. It's great for many things, including probably the best method for reheating fried foods, but frying something raw, it's just not the tool for the job.
