If they sell for $170 new, where are they getting the $350 pricing from? Is that original msrp?
I prefer to base value of a deal off of what they sell for now, not what they originally sold for.
Huh, they support aptx low latency, which is a pretty rare feature (I don't believe the Bose or Sony headphones do). It's a useful feature if you're using these with video content so you don't get that weird delay between seeing someone's lips move and hearing the words. It's also pretty much a must have for gaming with Bluetooth headphones.

You'll probably need a separate Bluetooth transmitter to use it though. As far as I know, no phones, streaming sticks etc support the codec natively. In my case I use a little type C transmitter that's almost flush when inserted. It's designed for the Nintendo switch, but works with my phone, laptop and chromecast with Google TV (with a type c hub). It also allows 2 headphones to connect at the same time, but if they don't both support AptX LL then it's disabled on both while they're connected.
Right so per RTINGS.com:

Bose QC35 II
Weight: 0.52 lb
Clamping force: 0.69 lb

These Sennheiser PXC 550-II
Weight: 0.51 lb
Clamping force: 0.8 lb

Bose 700, which I sent back for being too uncomfortable as a QC35 II user
Weight: 0.58 lb
Clamping force: 1 lb

AirPods Max
Weight: 0.85 lb
Clamping Force: 1.2 lb

At this point I would not even consider the AirPods Max. That is 170% the weight and 150% the clamping force of these Sennheisers.

Totally agree, I got the Jabra 65 Evolve Headphones / Mic with the 365 Link dongle - they do connect to my work computer Bluetooth without the dongle, but it's sooo much better with it, plus that's a really comfortable headset (took advantage of the Amazon Warehouse 40% off Slickdeal and got them for $71). I'd love to have a pair of Sennheisers but I'm really really happy with the Jabra's for work, and they seamlessly switch back from my phone to my work laptop whenever I need to.

It's ok. Very nice case, but I feel the headphone is too light and no bass for sound.

I have zero idea what you are talking about. I compared four headphones. One of which has "pod" in the name.

Should I return the Sony XM3 from the recent eBay deal and get this instead?

Is it a big deal that it is a micro-USB? Does that just require an adapter to connect to a usb port?

I don't know how young you r but older phones (actually only a few years ago) and electronic devices used usb-a to micro-usb wires to charge and/or transfer files. Now a days most are using usb-a to usb-c wires. Some use usb-c to usb-c.

To answer your question: me personally, it is not a big deal (for some it is) and you don't need an adapter to connect to a usb-a port. Thys headphone already comes with a "USB Charging cable (Micro to A)" so just need to carry this usb-a to micro usb wire if you only have usb a to usb c wires. Again, if you don't mind carrying or keeping a usb-a to micro usb wire with you, it's not a big deal.

tl;dr: No, not a big deal and no adapter needed. It's just a first world problem.

I've gotten replacements from Sennhesier which are probably refurbished units. I've had no issues with my replacement headphones.
Thanks for the input.
These are listed on the sale page as refurbished by eBay.
Not sure how true that is, but I'd guess it is a less rigorous process vs Sennheiser.

Ebay refurbished is their new "brand" for their certified refurb program. These are from the Senny outlet so they did the work not Ebay. But you do get an extra couple years of warranty from Allstate if that's worth anything.
