$50 is the regular price at Costco and can be found at most Costco locations. Will it be cheaper during the tech days event sales that randomly occur at Costco?

It's stupid, because very few, even newly released devices support over 128-265gb cards. No clue why they switched to this from the 2x 128gb and 2x 265gb cards for $45/40. Wish I'd bought more of them awhile back.
Most cameras and phones nowadays, support more than 256 GB

Insta360 camera, Eufy/Wyze cams, dash cams, etc all only support 128gb or 265gb. Heck the GoPro Hero 9 only supports 265, so not sure what you're smoking.

Not only do your newer devices handle this size, I have rarely run into a problem using up to 512gb, even in older devices.

Great, inexpensive card for the Steam Deck though.

I remember when deals like this used to be useful to a majority of SDers. Now most high end phones don't come with microsd card slots. I guess this type of deal is good for photographers.

GoPro official site recommends a 512GB card for the GoPro Hero 9 here [gopro.com]. It probably can support even more than that.

I stand corrected. The first search result on Google said max 256gb.

Welcome to 2021.
Well that's new, since it launched. Doesn't support any sized cards between 256 and 1tb, though, although I think I have had a 512gb Lexar card in mine, but never filled it over 128gb.

Not worth the risk in a dashcam, security camera, or lost footage of a vacation. Most do handle larger capacity cards okay, but the issues start after the size of the files goes over the 128/256gb limit that the device can support.
