Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Does this actually work. If I return the battery will they not reverse the discount?
When you see the items listed as separate prices in the cart or on the receipt in store, it is treated as separate purchases.
It is something Home Depot , Lowe's and the tool companies know about and use to sell more product.
It is why so many of us stalk Slick deals and You Tube to see if there are any tool hacks today.
You can do the hack a few different ways.
Milwaukee has probably sold 10 times the amount of tools they would have if they didn't allow the hacks. It gets you into their platform and buying stuff you wouldn't normally shop for.
Everyone wins
What's with the TD? This was a 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 deal recently at $76 with hack.
I'm guessing the people that bought it for the higher price. Also, there are so many people on Facebook and eBay now doing the hack, then reselling online. That's probably who's down voting. This is the best price I've seen on this. Is the fuel version faster, sure. Is it worth the extra $150? Not unless you literally use one of these at work for hours each day which is very doubtful.
Just picked up the M12 version. Now thinking if I jump on this one, mainly because it's easier to change out the blades or keep the M12 because it's lighter weight

Plus, their markups are so high, that even if you bought a $200 tool on sale for $79, they still turn a profit at Milwaukee. (All tool companies tend to do it this way.)
Now if only Milwaukee had a better design for an oscillating tool.
With Dewalt falling, Fein being too $$$$, and all the other brands milking the DIY'ers that don't know any better, the need for a quality oscillating on the market is going to be growing soon.
The new smaller makita is wayyyy better than the old hand destroyer they had, but it's still heavily lacking in a lot of aspects (but it's got a huge swing compared to others out there. I forgot the exact range, but it's larger that I ever thought could be needed.)
I posted this tool a couple days ago for like $8 more , and it was popular. No reason for this better deal here to get Thumbs down
Those that voted TD are kinda goofy. This deserves a 👍
It may not be as popular since the hack is now more difficult with the inventory/pickup changes and people are reporting issues/push back with returning just one item at the store. To not get push back make sure you have a pro xtra account and do a return without the receipt (just using you phone number, say you lost the receipt). Once you enter your phone they scan the item and return to the original payment method without questions. The receipt makes it obvious that it was a bundle/promo and they may request that both items are returned. The second way they only see the refund amount once they scan the item.
Just did it with the crown stapler and battery combo. I entered my pro account (i.e. phone number) and they scanned the batteries and processed my refund to the original payment method.
Do they ever run discounts for brushless gear or is this as good as it gets? Thinking I wait until black friday and snag a brushless version if it goes on sale.

Flip of the coin, if they run this special again.
