You obviously don't know much about video and compression quality. Bit-rate 100% matters when you compress it down to 1 - 10 mbps. Resolution does not equal quality. There is not enough throughput in the world to give everyone blu-ray quality. Old does not equal bad because a lot of times quality is sacrificed for convenience. Cds are actually better quality than streaming music. Blu-rays are better than every single video streaming service.
There is a separate box set equivalent to this that also has the digital codes, but has a black cover instead of white. It is listed as 'on sale' right now at Best Buy for twice the price of this non-digital code white set, but I believe it is currently out of stock. I'm holding our for 4k, somehow managed not to bite at DVD and Bluray Bond mega-sets over the last 20 years, but 4k might get me.
i don't own any Bond flicks and i'm a fan of the latest Bond, 2.50 per bluray is not a bad deal.

Bought to replace all my old VHS copies. Thanks!

Would go digital but can't find it in myself to commit 700 GB of my NAS to James Bond.

I think when ppl talk about "digital" in these threads they mean streaming, not ripping.

If Apple had this same deal for stream, I'd buy in a heartbeat. I don't even have a Blu-ray player hooked up on my main tv anymore. Cheers for anyone else that is able to enjoy this though.

That's what I assumed as in "digital code". You have to go back to VHS to not be "digital" so it was probably an abbreviation.
