No worries. I tried and it went OOS while in the chat. They basically said get farked. Then again when it was in stock, they denied what the original rep said and my Incident Number doesn't mean anything. So giving me that number isn't going to work. So I rated their chat a 1 star. I think I'm done. Unless I see it go back in stock.
The 256GB for $486 still comes and goes in stock. You probably have better luck camping that than dealing with CS.

That's what I was expecting to happen. They were different model numbers and different colors so very difficult o convince them to match, unless off course you get a clueless rep which is very possible with Walmart

I figured that as well. Just hate when reps don't give a damn and will tell you anything they can, just to get you off chat. I think its a shitty move by any company telling their reps to do that.

Reps are the first line in dealing with customer issues. They will be the least knowledgeable so I always take what they say with a grain of salt. It works both ways though. Sometimes when a rep is not knowledgeable, you can use that to have a better chance of scoring a deal. In this case, IF the order did go through, you'd be taking advantage of a rep not knowing the rules.

Yes, also looking at the previous comment it seems they give an option for replacement if they happen to send a wrong model. Shows expected delivery date of Sunday lets see when it ships. I had bought an open box one from Best Buy few months back but couldn't justify keeping it for the cost of $900 or so, but at this price its a no brainer.

I was able to get them to reset the warranty based upon the date I ordered the iPad from Walmart. My warranty now expires 10/10/22.
