They shouldn't have cancelled yours. Just try with different rep with Chat or again call and try your luck.
Tried with three different reps through live chat, but was only able to get a 20 dollar coupon out of it unfortunately. Didn't think about calling instead, thanks for the suggestion!
Yea I do. Sorry, wasn't very clear earlier. I bought the 128 gb that was mentioned in one of the first few pages of this forum for 415 when it was that price (it's 693 now). The one I bought wasn't the demo model linked by OP. I think they released the refurb 128 and 256gb retail model ipads together, but for now they've only increased the price of the 128 gb (retail) and kept the 256 gb (retail) at 486. Idk if the "system error" cancelation is because they didn't want to sell it to me at the discounted price, but it sure looks that way to me haha. You may have better luck scoring the 256gb one rather than getting Walmart to rectify this error. Most of the reps are clueless with these sort of issues and they will just give you a run around.

Yup, just got off the phone with a rep and the explanation she gave was that the original price that I purchased it at was incorrect and the result of a "system error", which makes sense seeing the price now at 693. Still nothing that can be done, but will try for the 256gb again. Just hoping I can catch one and have it shipped out before they potentially raise the price of that one as well
Call Apple support. Get to AppleCare support. Say I bought an iPad and the warranty date started in august. Can you reset it so I can get the full year? They will email you a link. You open the link and upload a screen shot of your Walmart order. They ask for a serial number. Give it to them. They put you on hold for a few minutes. Done.
I didn't go beyond that. I didn't explain it's a refurb etc etc.
What specific part of the order on Walmart do I screenshot and send to them? What if they notice the refurbished part on the screenshot 😰?
Just received mine! When taking out of the box, the iPad was sealed in retail box the way people have previously mentioned. One noticeable thing that I had, which I would like to know if if anyone else had if they received theirs, is that there was a blue sticker on top that says stuff like ***Testing*G/C/A*Packaging*Repair***Electronics>Tablets & eReaders>Apple IPads Apple 3H901LL/A and more stuff like serial number and grade a fully functional. Would be nice if anyone would be able to explain what yall think all that means. When unsealing it, the retail box that it actually came in wasn't actually super clean (like couple of scratches on front of image of box). Charger and cable were there. The iPad had a plastic film that covered the entire screen of the iPad which is giving me scared vibes like was the iPad's screen damaged and then repaired? Let me know what y'all think and if y'all had that too. Although I haven't dived too much into it, the screen looks and works fine but again gotta do more testing and using. I put my serial number on apple coverage site and everything seems good though. Says I have tech support till November 15, 2021 which is pretty close 😬. But repair and coverage is also active till August 16, 2022. Imma also try contacting apple like someone did earlier to extend the warranty. This was my first impression I'll look into it more later and hope y'all can tell me what else to look for.

Sounds good to me. I'd reset it again and then install iOS15.

Did you also have that blue sticker with all that info and plastic film on yours. I can't stop worrying about that even though it probably isn't something I should be too worried about 😅............... right 😳?

Yes I did. Why are you worried? The iPad is a refurbished ipad and the sticker is for that purpose.

Why would you worry about a sticker, Its a refurbished product, that too at a very low price, this is kind of expected. At least they providing retail box and all accessories.
