Fun story, my Walmart didn't even have a spot for Metroid Dread on their shelves when I arrived tonight. Guy behind the counter was older and had a line of people. He said they probably had the game but "had no one to put it out". Wasn't there to bust his balls but WTF. Brickseek of course showed 6+ copies in stock. Maybe next time... It was late enough to where waiting on a manager etc would have been a pain in the ass.

Same thing happened to me on launch day for Skyward Sword. The employee was nice enough to go in the back and find it. I checked today and they did have a spot for Metroid but it was sold out.

Bummer. Least you got Skyward Sword though! Looking forward to playing Skyward Sword since I never had it for Wii.

Same ish happened to me tonight. No spot in the display case for the game. The one guy in the department had me waiting for like 10 minutes while he was helping another customer. He then finished up with him and said he'd go check in the back. Inventory showed they had stock, but he checked several places and couldn't find it. Wasted 20 minutes and left empty handed… what a bummer.
