Frankly it's very smart. Most money is made on snacks anyways, and with this they don't have to give a cut to the movie studios. I'd bet the NFL charges them wayyy less than say, Disney.

Some theatres might not have their complete schedule of Sunday showings yet. Check back Friday evening for this Sunday's game lineup. Games will vary by theatres. No local team games will be shown. Best to just look at the Sunday showings for your local AMC Theatres to see what is playing, My local theatre had two games last Sunday. Seems the games varied for other theatres in neighboring cities.
