Well, maybe you're a big spender, but I'm not planning on spending $10,750 on PayPal this quarter (the $6,250 spending limit on the Marriott Amex offer plus the $4,500 limit combined on our family's 3 Chase Freedom cards).
I'll spend my first $4,500 Paypal using Chase. Very very unlikely to get beyond that, but if I did the Marriott Amex would be the 2nd choice.
So, yes, most people on this board are probably not going to do both.
