$400 price drop beginning today on a nice TV. Includes $100 5-yr protection plan at no cost. Also includes $65 streaming credit. Samsung soundbar/sub package also dropped $100 as of today. Great combo for ~$2,540 including tax.
"2299.99 until 10/26. this is better than the previous deal where it was 2699 with a 400 costco cash card."
Thanks for the post but they just adjusted the cash card away, the price is the same.
So not a better deal than yesterday.
You pay sales tax on the $400 Costco cash card then you pay sales tax again on the items you buy with the $400 Costco cash card. So for us in Calif it is a $31 savings over the previous deal
Great for peace of mind and great when included in price, but how often are extra warranties utilized legitimately? I have never actually had a tv turn to shit within 5 years. I got a 75 inch q90a for 2100 without buying an extra warranty. No issues after 4 months, but still a little worried if i should have purchased an extended warranty.

That's why they want to scare you into buying it. Free profit.

I just replaced a $1300 Sony that has had a failed backlight twice since 2017. I did not buy a warranty but the first time was within the second year so credit card extended warranty covered the cost of repair.
Edit: replaced with a QN90a. What a beautiful set.

I don't see anything about a streaming credit. Site states a 3 Year Allstate Protection Plan Bundle not a 5 year Allstate protection bundle.
On the item page scroll down to "Member Bonus". There you will find the 5 yr warranty info and streaming subscription choices. For the warranty: Year 1 is covered by Samsung, Year 2 is covered by Costco Concierge Services, Years 3 - 5 are covered by Allstate.
I see the 85" is only $2,999 but it's currently unavailable / sold out. Price shows valid until 11/7/21; does anyone know if typically it'll come back in stock or am I out of luck?
Is there a difference between the QN85A & QN85DA??
Costco has the QN85A coming up on sale for early black Friday for $2099 but Costco has the QN85DA on sale right now for $1999.99 with the 5 year warranty... Asked the sales lady and she said it's the exact same TV... But not sure just exactly how much knowledge they have of the different model tvs...
