because they already got a lot of sales from previous sale, and they wait 90 days on purpose to prevent people from returning or adjusting for a better price.
fingers crossed a killer costco qn85 85 deal happens as I want that 7 year warranty and 4% back
'I think it will go on sale January 24-25th, that is 90 days past the previous 2999 sale and it'll be the last big one imo before its removed and replaced.
I was correct, I was pretty sure they wouldn't do a sale, just extend the regular price again, the new sale goes live on the 22nd, which is basically the 90 day mark from the original sale of 2999, they did this so people dont return and get price adjustment.
works for me, I think the q85 85 will be 2699 myself. thats what samsung sold it as EPP for 85 QN90 awhile back. if does go for 2699 range, with its 7 year warranty, im snagging the second it goes live.

Thanks. Now I know how they operate sales. 90 day gaps from large appliance drops to prevent people generally returning or price adjusting. Atleast the big ones
