The 12 month warranty on the non-replaceable LED bulbs makes the 5 year warranty for the lights about worthless.
I think the effective resolution is limited by the tiny cheap lenses, not the sensors. So, 2k means you get larger files without benefit.
Oh, and I did try yelling, *Enhance!* at the screen like in the movies, but it didn't work :-(

I personally moved to a eufy doorbell after my ring 2 failed after 4 years, 2 replacement batteries, a solar charger that was strictly ornamental, and the upgraded chime pro, which did jack shit to improve battery life, stability, connectivity.
$300 plus another $30 annually is a bit greedy for a doorbell…
Although it's batteries and not bulbs, all the new fire and carbon dioxide alarms come with a 10 yr non removal Li ion battery.
But I get ur point, I've had my porch light for over ten years if not more than 15. It's a classic design with a motion sensor, non posable though. It's mostly plastic so it's still looks new.
