I was hesitant to buy intel but the intel 11800h performs on par with the 5800h but is less efficient when it comes to battery life. However, the 11800h let's you undervolt which makes the chip perform faster and outputs less heat.

I'm not advocating one over the other, just pointing out the older deal the person asked about.

It sounds like you might be able to squeeze a tiny bit more performance out of the GP66 due to the ability to undervolt and the like but it's probably imperceptible in real world scenarios at the end of the day though.

I'd say the real value in the GP66 deal is the Costco extended warranty and return window that will last through the holiday in the event something amazing shows up.

All that power and not with the Pro screen?

So this one with the 3070 or the 5i Pro with the 3060 for $1,800?

Especially an Intel without Thunderbolt. Makes no sense.

They literally used all the same parts from last years model except for CPU and GPU.. Same in my book
.....that's like saying a desktop with 2080 rtx and 3080 rtx is the same because it's using the same case.
