It is a great 3+ player game that involves bluffing & reasoning. Each round lasts maybe 5 minutes and is a great party game with low set-up.

You basically have a limited deck of specific cards with their own effects. Each player has two cards, face down, and claims the abilities of a certain card. It's up to the other players to deduce if they're telling the truth or lying. Call someone out on a lie, and they lose a card. Call someone out and they're telling the truth? You lose a card.

As with most bluffing games, don't just consider if you would like it, but if those you play with would like it.

Playing bluffing games with people that don't enjoy bluffing games and/or aren't good at bluffing is not much fun.

Wow, must buy at this price. Got this a couple days ago for $7, might go in for a third copy. Best game for 3+ people hands down.

Love this game. Easy setup, easy to explain, quick sessions. Hidden roles, bluffing, strategy. It's everything I want in a board game.

This is a very good point. Coup is one of my favorite games to play but some ppl can feel pretty salty after a bad session. So best with ppl that can kind of roll with the punches.

Yes. I own it. It's a fun little filler game if you and your crew are ok with lying and being lied to.

I would call this a card game though, not a board game.

It's from the same makers of "The Resistance" and "Avalon" which are also fun social deduction games.
