Item model number‎: PSTVS14's design is not as sturdy when compared to the Item model number‎: PSTVS15's design because the TV mount is attached to only the front portion of the stand's column. While Item model number‎: PSTVS15's design has the TV mount attached through the front and to the back portion of the stand's column.

So you're saying the PSTVS14 design rests the column mount just on top of the base.
and PSTVS15 has the mount all the way through the base?

and since this is glass, the PSTVS14 design might just break the glass base if someone hits the tv from the top?

I have the version of this stand that goes up to 70" and it's a beefy stand. I was worried about the tempered glass, but it's been sturdy. We have ours on a movable base, so I can't comment on how it'll hold up on repeated moving or jostling around.

I've got one of these for a regular ole 1080p 55" I fixed after a neighbor threw his TV out after a storm ($19 for a brand new hdmi board which is what was zapped and usually it's this that's zapped by lightning so you get a blue screen or blinking screen with no connected items working)

This really surpised me how great it is, its low to the ground obviously so your TV will need to sit high enough on a dresser etc for your viewing pleasure.
