Do these go in anything but laptops (mini-servers or something)? 64GB is overkill for all but the most specialized situations, none of which I can see running in a laptop (well, at $200 you might want the option). I'm sure there are people out there with such requirements, but you rarely get sales (unless they counted on more people overbuying then actually happened).

Well, for the few people who can actually use this, dig in!

Ah you underestimate how many chrome and browser tabs one can have open at once. I have 32GB MBP from work where I have multiple browsers open to keep user sessions 100% separate for testing. I'm currently sitting at 28GB used by system/apps, 4GB used for caching frequently used files, and I'm actually eating into 2GB of the SSD as swap storage. I'm sure there are people who can get deep into 64GB of memory.

Got this ram set in my laptop ordered 32 but Amazon sent me 64gb so no complaints

Fast ram despite being cl22 the crucial is also cl22
